Xiaobing Zuo
Senior Investigator

Xiaobing Zuo is a Physicist in X-ray Science Division of Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory. He earned a BS from University of Science and Technology of China in 1995 and obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry from Northwestern University (Evanston IL) in 2003. He completed post-doctoral trainings in X-ray scattering characterization for supramolecules at Argonne under the guidance of Dr. David Tiede and in RNA structural biology at National Cancer Institute with Dr. Yun-Xing Wang, before joining APS. Xiaobing is currently the lead scientist of beamline 12-ID-B, a major small-angle X-ray scattering beamline of APS. His research focuses on the developments and applications of synchrotron X-ray scattering techniques and simulation methods, for structural characterization of nano-scale biological and synthetic materials.
